Covering song choice, vocal preparation, stylistics, performance skills and mindset this course shares my insights, advice and observations from being on the audition panel of some major TV shows and coaching the contestants.It is suitable for any aspiring singers (or parents of singers if under 16) of any genre who feel they would like to promote themselves on the TV platform. With nearly 90 minutes of video, tasks to complete and downloadable worksheets I will walk you through how to prepare for an audition in order to feel more confident about your choices.Do you know the following saying?'There is no such thing as luck: it is merely preparation meeting opportunity'Well this is so true and I'd love to help you prepare for the opportunity!FAQ’sIs this course suitable for children?The course is suitable for adults and parents of children auditioning. It was filmed for adults so the language and style of delivery reflects that and may be difficult for children to understand and engage with. However, it may benefit parents of children auditioning to assist guiding them through their preparation.How long will this course take me to complete?How long the course will take is dependant on the individual. There is about 1 1/2 hours worth of video content plus tasks. However, the aim is to deepen the thought process involved, develop analytical rehearsal and instil good vocal practice so could take considerably longer than that.Will this course get me on a TV show?This course will not ensure that you get selected for a TV show. It aims to give you the best chance at performing confidently at an audition. Unfortunately the outcome of your audition is out of our control.
